Letter of Regret

Dear Ms. X:

I will miss calling you “Dear,” so give me this one last chance to call you “Dear Ms. X”.

Thank you for your interest in me and in the desire of having a considerable position in my heart.

Most of the applicants certainly made a favorable impression because of their pasts and love qualifications. However I have only one heart, the HR Committee based its decision on the pre-evaluation plus the real-life exam and interview process to choose someone who best matches with me in the office.

I will, however, keep your application on active file, and ask for your permission to notify you in case a vacant position will be opened within my circle of friends.
